Settelo provides information, not advice. The calculators, guides, and other content on this website are educational tools meant to help you understand Indian property transactions. They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified advocate, chartered accountant, valuer, surveyor, or other regulated professional.
Estimates, not certifications
Every number a Settelo calculator produces — stamp duty, registration fee, EMI, taxes, area conversion — is an estimate derived from rules and rates we curate from official sources. Rates change. Local rules vary. Always verify with the relevant state or central authority before paying any amount or signing any document.
What Settelo does not do
- We do not certify, verify, or attest to property titles, ownership, or document authenticity.
- We do not give legal opinions on specific properties, documents, or transactions.
- We do not predict property prices or guarantee any return on investment.
- We do not act as a real-estate agent or broker for any transaction described on this site.
- We are not affiliated with any government department, court, or regulatory body.
Data sources and freshness
Our calculators draw on data we collect from state IGR portals, RERA authorities, CBDT, RBI, and similar official sources. Each data point is tagged with the source URL and the date it was last verified. Even with this discipline, errors and lags happen — government portals update unevenly. Treat any number on this site as a starting point for your own verification, not as a final figure.
No solicitation
Nothing on this website is an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy, sell, lease, or otherwise transact in any property.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Settelo (its founders, contributors, and contractors) accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or claim arising from the use of, or reliance on, the content of this website.
